You get the ship skins for free as a promo goodie if you buy game time. Game time costs the same as always so it is actually a pretty decent offer.
I paid like 2bil ISK on the market for all 3 skins. That is 2 and a half PLEX.
So actually the 1 year subscription is discounted by maybe 2 months extra. Not bad I'd say. |

You are ofc right, only they said it somewhere that the skins will come with game time special offers "around fanfest". (I think CCP Guard mentioned it in the o7 show?)
I knew it in advance and anyone who pays close attention to news would have been able to.
I checked my account in advance and saw it would expire in April. Check.
(otherwise I might just have eaten one PLEX instead of buying 12 months)
But I actually expected that the Quafe Domi might come with a 12 month offer (you have 3 ship skins, what would you do?).
Now, I usually do not buy any subscription for such long periods (gas, mobile phone, any other service), because it's always the same: after 5 or 9 months you realize you don't want the service and you find you have payed in advance and cannot cancel.
Therefore I demand of any service provider (including CCP) that their product is so good that I will always resub and they don't have to talk me into 12 or 24 months subscriptions payed in advance.
Solution?
I bought the Quafe Domi from the market. Everything can be bought with ISK.
Which is very good by the way (compared to other games). No one is forced to buy Aurum or the like and still can enjoy all the vanity items. |
